The new location is within a block of the Allentown Art Museum, Baum School of Art, the Lehigh County and U.S. District Court buildings and the new City Center Three Building, as well as Allentown\u2019s new Arts Walk.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have been really excited about all the positive changes that have come to Allentown over the past five years,\u201d Barber said. \u201cWhen I bought the Hess Building I got questions from friends and colleagues who wondered why I wanted to be in Allentown. I was confident the city had a great future, and I am even more confident now that the future is even brighter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/70q.ab7.mytemp.website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/122-N-5th-Street.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-1\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-31533\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/70q.ab7.mytemp.website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/122-N-5th-Street-225x300.jpg?resize=225%2C300\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/thevalleyledger.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/122-N-5th-Street.jpg?resize=225%2C300&amp;ssl=1 225w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/thevalleyledger.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/122-N-5th-Street.jpg?w=650&amp;ssl=1 650w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Barber bought the historic Hess building in 2005 and sold it in 2013 to finance other business interests, but remained as a tenant for Lehigh Financial Group. Like the Hess building, his new property includes off-street parking and space for up to three more professional tenants.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re really in the middle of all the good things going on now, and I want to help other business owners enjoy that proximity,\u201d said Barber, who operates Lehigh Financial with colleague Lewis Edwards and Mike Gilbert. \u201cWe\u2019ll have 2,700 square feet of office space and I will offer affordable, gross lease terms to make it easier for small business owners who want to be close to downtown. The lease will include utilities, Internet, parking, etc., which can be expensive when added to rental costs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Barber also credited his Realtor, Paula Antario of Two Rivers Realty in Easton, Listing Agent Bob Wiley of Berkshire Hathaway\/Fox &amp; Roach Realtors and First United Land Transfer in Allentown, for assisting with the purchase and closing.<\/p>\n<p><i>Lehigh Financial Group, LLC is a leading source of innovative real estate capital solutions and financing options for commercial customers.
