Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, PA. October 23, 2026 – ArtsQuest, in partnership with Embassy Bank and Phoebe Ministries, proudly presents the annual Veterans Day Q&A Panel on Tuesday, November 10 at 6 p.m. in the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas, located on the first floor of the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks.

The event will feature a panel discussion of veterans reflecting on their military service and the experiences that shaped their lives during and after their time in the armed forces. The discussion will be moderated by Chris Yarnell, Executive Director of Battle Borne.

“Veterans Day is about more than remembering the past,” said David M. Lobach, Jr. Chairman, President and CEO of Embassy Bank for the Lehigh Valley. “It’s about honoring the sacrifice of those who served and reflecting on the responsibility we all share to strengthen the communities and country they helped protect. The men and women who served our country gave more than most of us will ever be asked to give. Their sacrifice reminds us to appreciate our freedoms and never take them for granted.”

“On Veterans Day, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have served our nation with courage, honor and dedication,” said Scott Stevenson, President/CEO Phoebe Ministries. “We are especially grateful for the veterans within our Phoebe family, whose service and sacrifice continue to inspire us all.”

Following the discussion, attendees are invited to a free screening of “Flags of Our Fathers” (rated R for language and violence). Based on the 2000 book by James Bradley and Ron Powers, the 2006 film tells the story of the five Marines and one Navy corpsman who raised the American flag on Mount Suribachi during the 1945 Battle of Iwo Jima, as well as the lasting impact of that moment on their lives.

Admission to the event and film screening is free for guests 13+ with a parent or guardian, but advance ticket reservations are required. The panel discussion will also be livestreamed on ArtsQuest’s Facebook and YouTube channels, with a recording available on YouTube following the event.

“At ArtsQuest, we are honored to bring our community together to listen, reflect and recognize the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans,” said Kyle Ring, ArtsQuest Operations Specialist. “We are grateful to Embassy Bank, Phoebe Ministries and Battle Borne for helping create a meaningful evening that shares veterans’ stories and invites audiences to connect.”
