Allentown, PA [September 2-5] Lehigh County 4-H is proud to announce that several members of the Lehigh County Livestock Club received high awards at this year\u2019s Great Allentown Fair, showcasing their hard work and dedication to their livestock. The Lehigh County Livestock Club members have been actively involved in the care, feeding, training, and grooming of their animals, learning valuable life skills. These life skills and experiences prepare the 4-H’ers for future careers within and outside of agriculture.<\/p>\n

The Grand Champion Market Beef was exhibited by Ethan Brozman of Nazareth and purchased by Bell and Evans for $4,200. The Reserve Grand Champion Market Beef was exhibited by Samuel Lazarus of Schnecksville and purchased by Bell and Evans, Mr. Bills Poultry, and Fulton Bank for $4,200.<\/p>\n

The Grand Champion Dairy Beef was exhibited by Olivia Wisser of New Tripoli, in her final year of 4-H and purchased by Bell and Evans for $3,000. The Reserve Grand Champion Dairy Beef was exhibited by Levi Lazarus of Schnecksville and purchased Bell and Evans for $4,100.<\/p>\n

The Grand Champion Market Lamb was shown by Samuel Lazarus of Schnecksville and purchased by Fulton Bank, Lehigh County Agricultural Society, and Mr. Bills Poultry for $1,050. The Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb was exhibited by Darren Bowman of Slatington, and purchased by 4 Seasons Garden Center, Comfortek Apparel LLC, and Geiger Farms for $1,200.<\/p>\n

Emily Laudenslager of Allentown exhibited the Grand Champion Market Goat and Reserve Grand Champion Market Goat. The champion was purchased by Art\u2019s Service Center for $1,300 and the reserve champion was purchased by KC Stoves and Fireplaces for $1,150.<\/p>\n

The Grand Champion Market Hog was exhibited by Samuel Lazarus of Schnecksville and was purchased by Bell and Evans, Fulton Bank, Mr. Bills Poultry, and Eric Stas for $1,400. The Reserve Grand Champion Market Hog was exhibited by Emily Laudenslager of Allentown and purchased by Springfield Meats for $1,700.<\/p>\n
