Emmaus Farewell to Summer Festival Expands Downtown Footprint for 2026 Event<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Emmaus, PA \u2013 September 8th<\/sup>, 2026 –\u00a0<\/em>The Emmaus Main Street Partners (EMSP), proud partners of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, will welcome residents and visitors alike back to the beloved Farewell to Summer Festival on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This annual tradition to celebrate the changing seasons fills the Emmaus Triangle Park and main street with family fun activities for all to enjoy.<\/p>\n

This free community event will feature more than 50 local vendors, food trucks, and a variety of activities throughout the borough.<\/p>\n

New this year, the festival will expand into the Emmaus Borough-owned Wells Fargo parking lot, creating additional space for interactive activities, including a Touch-a-Truck experience hosted by the Emmaus Fire and Police Departments and a free tie-dye station sponsored by Active Learning Centers. Guests are encouraged to bring their own shirts to participate.<\/p>\n

The festival begins with a free outdoor mat Pilates class in Triangle Park led by Alchemize Pilates from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Along with visiting the local businesses and artisan vendors, additional activities include a character meet-and-greet with Moana and Spider-Man at noon in Triangle Park, a free screening of The Goonies<\/em> at Emmaus Theatre thanks to event sponsors Edward Jones by Jeff Mcelhaney, Ambler Savings Bank and First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union, and the return of the popular Scarecrow Trail.<\/p>\n

Sponsored by United Federal Credit Union, the Scarecrow Trail encourages participants to visit downtown businesses throughout the festival. At each stop, guests will collect puzzle pieces to build a scarecrow and complete their trail passport. Completed passports will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win $50 in local gift cards. Trail passports will be available for download beginning September 11 at www.lehighvalleychamber.org\/emmausfarewelltosummer.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Farewell to Summer Festival is more than an event, it\u2019s a celebration of community.\u201d Stated Hayden Rinde, Manager of the Emmaus Main Street Partners. \u201cYear after year, it brings together neighbors and welcomes new visitors to town, shines a spotlight on local businesses, and creates lasting memories in the heart of the Emmaus Borough.\u201d<\/p>\n
