These messages may offer a free health package, Medicare-related benefit, gift or other promotion and ask you to click a link or provide personal information. These communications are fraudulent and are not being sent by St. Luke&#8217;s or MyChart.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you should know:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>St. Luke&#8217;s and MyChart<strong>\u00a0will not\u00a0<\/strong>contact you unexpectedly to ask for passwords, financial information or other sensitive personal information.<\/li>\n<li>Be cautious of messages that create a sense of urgency or offer something that seems too good to be true.<\/li>\n<li>Do not click links or open attachments from suspicious messages.<\/li>\n<li>If you are unsure whether a message is legitimate, do not respond. Instead, log in to MyChart directly through the MyChart app or by visiting the St. Luke&#8217;s website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>If you believe you interacted with a suspicious message:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Change your MyChart password immediately.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor your accounts for unusual activity.<\/li>\n<li>Contact the St. Luke\u2019s MyChart Patient Support Line at\u00a0<a href=\"tel:(866)%20785-8537\">866-785-8537<\/a>, option 5 for assistance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At this time, there is no indication that MyChart itself has been compromised. Cybercriminals are simply misusing the MyChart name and branding in an attempt to trick patients into sharing personal information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About St. Luke\u2019s<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Founded in 1872, St. Luke\u2019s University Health Network (SLUHN) is a fully integrated, regional, non-profit network with annual net revenue of more than $4.5 billion.
