If someone comes to mind, we hope you\u2019ll take a few minutes to nominate them.\u201d<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Community members, Chamber members and partners are encouraged to submit nominations in the following categories:<\/em><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Business of the Year<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Rookie Business of the Year<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Tourism &amp; Entertainment Business of the Year<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Mike Harleman Arts &amp; Entertainment Award<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Volunteer of the Year<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Young Professional of the Year<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Economic Development Project<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>William H. Bayer Lifetime Achievement Award<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>This year, CCEDC is expanding its Annual Awards program with three new categories designed to recognize additional forms of leadership, service and community impact:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Community Champion Business Award \u2013 Recognizing a business whose philanthropy, community involvement and leadership help make Carbon County a better place to live, work and do business.<\/em><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Member of the Year Award \u2013 Honoring a Chamber member who has demonstrated exceptional engagement, leadership, advocacy and support of Chamber programs and initiatives.<\/em><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Nonprofit of the Year Award \u2013 Celebrating a nonprofit organization whose mission, leadership and collaboration have created a meaningful and lasting impact in Carbon County.<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>\u201cThe expanded award lineup reflects CCEDC\u2019s continued effort to recognize the many ways businesses, organizations and individuals contribute to the strength and vitality of the county,\u201d added Adams-Weiss. \u201cEvery day we see new ways people are impacting our community in new and exciting ways, and we hope this expands the opportunities to highlight their efforts.\u201d<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Nominations will be reviewed by the CCEDC Awards Committee, with selected honorees recognized at the Annual Awards Gala later this year.
