The evening also featured the always-popular\u00a0<strong>Tandemonium<\/strong>\u00a0and the annual\u00a0<strong>Corporate Challenge<\/strong>, bringing together elite racing and community competition under the lights.<\/p>\n<p>Stein locked up the Men&#8217;s Rider of the Year crown following another consistent performance, finishing third in the evening&#8217;s 30-lap Points Race. Luke Pharis (Chaney Windows and Doors) claimed the race victory with Justin Pak (Star Track) finishing second, while Stein&#8217;s podium ride earned the final points needed to secure the season-long championship.<\/p>\n<p>Reeve capped an outstanding summer campaign by earning the Women&#8217;s Rider of the Year title. The New Zealander finished second in the 25-lap Women&#8217;s Points Race behind Reagen Pattishall (Turbo Velo Pickle Juice), before closing the evening with a victory in the Women&#8217;s Scratch Race. Pattishall earned silver in the Scratch Race, while Jessica Chong claimed bronze.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Rider of the Year is a season-long accomplishment that rewards consistency across every discipline,&#8221; said Valley Preferred Cycling Center Executive Director, Gary Thornton, &#8220;Dakota and Lucy competed at an incredibly high level all summer and are very deserving champions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>One of the evening&#8217;s biggest attractions was\u00a0<strong>Tandemonium<\/strong>, where riders paired up for exciting, high-speed racing on tandem bicycles.<\/p>\n<p>Jon Chambers and Gabriel Fortune claimed the Tandem Sprint title, defeating Andrew Brennan and Lucy Reeve in the championship final. Nik Reinert and Zack Felpel won the third-place match.<\/p>\n<p>Reinert and Felpel returned later in the evening to capture the Tandem Scratch Race, with Brennan and Reeve taking silver and Mark Gorman and Camie Cornely earning the bronze medal.<\/p>\n<p>The annual\u00a0<strong>Corporate Challenge<\/strong>\u00a0once again showcased teamwork beyond the professional racing, as local businesses competed in a 2-kilometer Italian Pursuit for bragging rights.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eleven-7D<\/strong>\u00a0delivered an impressive ride to win the Corporate Challenge championship.\u00a0<strong>Valley Preferred<\/strong>\u00a0earned the silver medal, while\u00a0<strong>Buckeye<\/strong>\u00a0claimed bronze. Air Products also competed in the event, highlighting the friendly rivalry that has become one of the Valley Preferred Cycling Center&#8217;s most anticipated traditions.<\/p>\n<p>Professional racing continued throughout the evening with Nik Reinert (Freddie Fu Cycling Team) sprinting to victory in the Men&#8217;s Scratch Race ahead of Lance Abshire (Chaney Windows and Doors) and Luke Pharis (Chaney Windows and Doors).<\/p>\n<p>The 2026 Friday Night Racing season concludes\u00a0<strong>Friday, August 14<\/strong>, with the\u00a0<strong>Madison Cup<\/strong>, featuring one of North America&#8217;s premier Madison competitions as international and domestic stars return to the Valley Preferred Cycling Center for the final Friday Night of Racing of the season.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Valley Preferred Cycling Center<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday Night Racing Results: Tandemonium &amp;
