Ryan Key from Yellowcard would later thank everyone for the sold-out show. I arrived with my parking pass this time, but I still want to say hi and thank you to Shirley and Anne.

Thank you to Bryn, Tehani, and all the ArtsQuest crew, the Musikfest crew, the Volunteers, security, the Bethlehem Police Department, the Bethlehem Fire Department, and the EMTs for keeping everyone safe. The weather beautiful. A shout out to my section and the people who were singing so LOUD AND PROUD. Also, the dude who drove from Virginia to see the bands. He said he has not seen Taking Back Sunday in a while. We never got to the Yellowcard discussion because we were all too busy singing.

Mother Nature was kind with her sunshine. It was beautiful outside. I will say this as someone who has been to so many concerts in life so far… Please stay HYDRATED. Water, water, water. Just some concert advice.

I stopped in Media Check-in to pick up my ticket. I want to say thank you again for having The Valley Ledger, myself, and our incredible photographer, Kimberly Kanuck for Musikfest coverage. It is a blast and such an honor. We hope we make our editor proud. Thank you to everyone, EVERY person at Media Check-in for the water also. They were kind enough to provide beverages for the press. It is always appreciated.

Now… onto the show. The Click Five opened for Yellowcard and Taking Back Sunday. They put on an incredible show.

They performed a variety of hits, and The Click Five have twenty-plus years of songs to perform. They included, “Jenny,” which every single soul JUMPED out of their seats and started singing.

The Click Five is Kyle Patrick (Lead and backing vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Joe Guese (Lead guitar, backing vocals), Ethan Mentzer (Bass, backing vocals). They were amazing. The lead singer mentioned they took some time off and asked all of us if we remembered the TRL Days. We did remember. I was also on MTV’s TRL (Total Request Live) which was filmed in New York City.

The Click Five’s 2026, “For Lovers Tour,” they played a few nostalgic songs, and kept it fun and the energy was high. The Click Five also performed: “Pop Princess” from The Hannah Montana soundtrack. “Catch Your Wave,” “Happy Birthday,” “Addicted to Me,” “Time Machine,” “Throwback,” “Good Day,” and many more songs. GO SEE THEM LIVE to hear all the music.

They moved quick with changing the stage and getting all the bands on. Taking Back Sunday came onstage to an already HYPED crowd. They were READY.

Taking Back Sunday opened with “What’s It Feel Like To Be a Ghost?,” and from there it was just all awesomeness. Taking Back Sunday also performed: “Liar(It Takes One To Know One),” “The One,” “Total Wave,” “Flicker, Fade,” “Lightbringer,” “You Can’t Look Back,” and so many more. The energy from tonight was intense and beautiful. A few of the Taking Back Sunday fans were thrilled because they got a, “GO BIRDS” YELL from the lead singer, Adam Lazzara.

Taking Back Sunday was formed in 1999. There is a lot of history, and a lot of beauty with the music. Taking Back Sunday is, Adam Lazzara (Lead Vocals), John Nolan (Lead guitar, keyboards, vocals), and Shaun Cooper (Bass guitar).

*drum roll* please…. NOW, Yellowcard. I saw more Yellowcard t-shirts than any band t-shirts I have ever seen with the exception of the MELVINS and Mr. Bungle. NOBODY has BUNGLE fans enthusiasm, but the Yellowcard fans SHOWED UP!

Yellowcard opened with an awesome homage to The Ghostbusters, and a Stay Puft Man came out onstage along with a Ghostbuster chasing him. IT WAS ALREADY A GOOD TIME. Thanks for paying homage to the films we all grew up with.

Yellowcard opened with “Better Days,” and performed so many nostalgic songs that got many of us through a lot. Yellowcard also performed: “Way Away,” “Always Summer,”

“Light Up The Sky,” “Fighting,” “Five Becomes Four,” “Only One,” “Breathing,” and of course, “Ocean Avenue”.

Yellowcard is Ryan Key (Lead Vocals, guitar), Sean Mackin (Violin, backing vocals), Ryan Mendez (Lead guitar, backing vocals), and Josh Portman (Bass guitar).

Yellowcard went above and beyond and ELEVATED MUSIKFEST. Thank you always for the music. Thank you, Musikfest. We shall see you tomorrow, and then until then, it is not goodbye, it is see you next year.

Follow Thevalleyledger.com The Valley Ledger

Follow Me at Janel Spiegel or Butterflyjms

Musikfest – ArtsQuest https://www.artsquest.org/musikfest/

Yellowcard | Official Website https://www.yellowcardband.com/

Taking Back Sunday – Official Website https://takingbacksunday.com/

Review By: Janel Spiegel Yellowcard and Taking Back Sunday with Special Guest The Click Five Musikfest August 8, 2026 The Wind Creek Steel Stage 711 East First Street, Bethlehem, Pa Bethlehem, Pa. WHAT A NIGHT! It was beautiful souls together for three incredible bands.
