Featuring DaBaby
August 5, 2026
Musikfest
Wind Creek Steel Stage
711 East First Street, Bethlehem, Pa

Bethlehem, Pa. THIS SHOW WAS LIT ALL THE WAY UP. The King of the South DELIVERED!

It was a great day. It was a busy day, all day long. I arrived and picked up my Musikfest parking pass and saw Anne and Shirley again. Thank you, ladies and the gentleman that was there the other day.

I stopped at Media check-in, and I want to say thank you so much to Bryn and Tehani. I want to thank everyone that is working with them. I stopped to use the restroom and wound up meeting The Real Zelly Zel’s dancers. They were so sweet and looked beautiful.

A highlight was Hip-Hop Artist, Kuf Knotz and Christine Elise. If you have never listened to Kuf, PLEASE LISTEN TO THE MUSIC, LISTEN TO WORDS, AND FEEL THE ENERGY.

Kuf paid homage to the current legends of Hip-Hop, and the ones who came before him. He showed KRS One, Wu-Tang Clan, L.L. Cool J, Queen Latifah, Eric B. & Rakim, Bigger Daddy Kane, Tupac, and many more legends of Hip–Hop.

A lot of music would not exist without the blues, and a lot of Hip-Hop is so impactful. If you have never fully listened to a Wu-Tang Clan song and heard all the beats, heard all the instruments, you should do that right now.

Kuf Knotz is one of my favorite souls ever and I hope to see him headlining at Musikfest soon. T.I. knows talent because T.I. is TALENT.

This show was a blast. I talked to everyone. People shared stories and talked about music and concerts. Some of got ponchos just in case but I was walking around looking like I had a produce bag on, but I digress as I took the poncho off anyway.

DJ K.i.D (Dejuane Malachi Dunwood) opened for DaBaby, and had the whole crowd hyped. To the souls that grew up listening to T.I., we shut it all down. But, I will say the ENERGY FOR DaBaby was euphoric.

As soon as DaBaby (Jonathan Lyndale Kirk) appeared onstage, people were singing before he even started singing.

DaBaby performed and spoke to the crowd so much. DaBaby even came into the crowd. He was walking all around the legendary Wind Creek Steel Stage area that many artists before walked.

The crowd was feeling all the energy. Mother Nature of course decided that a little drizzle was needed… For the Ambiance of course. She may have been feeling the music. DaBaby performed everything from “Pop Dat Thang” to “Toes,” “RockStar,” “Masterpiece,” and more.

DaBaby has a natural charisma. (He is fine too, but I am here to write.) He thanked the crowd. He threw a shirt out to the crowd, then he threw his other shirt out to the crowd. The man was losing clothing.

The crowd was HYPED and beyond elated. T.I.’s DJ came out after DaBaby, and of course The crews changed the stage quickly. I will never get over how quickly a tour crew can change a whole stage.

They do it, like it is nothing. Now… Mr. HIM… The King of the South, Mr. Clifford Joseph Harris Jr. who is known to the world as T.I. and T.I.P.

T.I. is from Atlanta. He has been making music for twenty plus years. His new album, “Kill The King” came out on June 26, 2026. T.I. is also a pioneer of Trap music, and NOBODY CAN HYPE A CROWD LIKE THE KING OF THE SOUTH.

It did start to rain again. I think Mother Nature thought some of needed to be cooled off and cleansed. Don’t ask, just now a good time was had by all.

T.I. came out a little before 9:30 and kept the show going. It felt like my whole Playlist was being played live in front of me. Songs I listen to everyday just performed live by the one and only, T.I.

T.I. performed songs including: “Why You Wanna,” “Fancy,” “Blurred Lines,” (we only really need T.I. for that song. Just saying.), “My Love” (A Justin Timberlake cover and Feature. Another song we only needed T.I. for.)

And then…. and then…. T.I. spoke to the crowd and proved some inspiration to keep it moving into the next song which was, “Whatever You Like.”

He also did “Live Your Life,” “24s,” “Rubberband Man,” “ASAP,” “Swagga Like Us,” and to remind the souls of who he is, he did, “Mr. HIM,” “Motivation,” and so many more.

T.I. also briefly did, “Dead and Gone” from 2008 which again features Justin Timberlake.

“That part of me left yesterday
The heart of me is strong today
No regrets I’m blessed to say
The old me dead and gone away.”
“DEAD AND GONE”

There was a brief intermission, and his DJ MLK came back out. T.I. came back out to “LET ‘EM KNOW,” and it rained some more and EVERYONE WAS SINGING. There was not one person who was not singing.

Mother Nature gave us rain and T.I. performed “BRING EM OUT” in the rain. We had a whole PARTY. It was everyone singing and the energy was beyond. People were so happy to have a night. So many people are going through so much, and MUSIC IS SO HEALING.

“Who set the city on fire as soon as he got freed
The king back now, hoes don’t even know how to act now
Hit the club stippers gettin’ naked ‘fore I sat down
Still ballin’, money stack taller than Shaq now
Still push a button to let the roof on the ‘Lac down
I’m on the road doin’ shows puttin’ my mack down
Mississippi to Philly, Albuquerque to Chatt Town”
“BRING EM OUT” By: T.I. 2004.

If you ever get a chance to see T.I. and DaBaby, Kuf, Christine, The Real Zelly Zel…. GO SEE THEM. This was my FAVORITE SHOW. I say that about every show but there are no words, and not ENOUGH WORDS. T.I. has been a life soundtrack. DEAD AND GONE kept some of us from getting into additional mischief in life.

GO TO MUSIKFEST. Have fun. Thank you so much to The Valley Ledger, Musikfest, Tehani and Bryn. THANK YOU T.I. for approving the media and DaBaby. And Kuf Knotz and Christine Elise, and The Real Zelly Zel – You were beyond amazing.

As always thank you to the Bethlehem Police, the Volunteers, THE VOLUNTEERS. PLEASE THANK A VOLUNTEER. Security, the Bethlehem FD, EMT’s, and all the vendors and people working so hard.

Go see T.I. and much respect to the King of The South.

T.I.
