BETHLEHEM, PA – (<\/strong>FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE) \u2014 The Judith Adele Agentis Charitable Foundation and the Gallery at Musselman Jewelers are pleased to present The Creative American Spirit<\/em>, an exhibition celebrating the imagination, ingenuity, craftsmanship, and resilience that continue to shape the American experience.<\/p>\n

The exhibit will be on display at the Gallery at Musselman Jewelers, 420 Main Street from Saturday, July 11 through Saturday, October 3. Featured works are by regional artists whose creations reflect the many dimensions of American life, culture, innovation, and creativity.<\/p>\n

An opening reception will be held on Saturday, July 11, from 2:00 p.m. to 5 p.m.<\/strong> The public is invited to attend, meet the artists, and enjoy an afternoon of art, conversation, and community in the heart of Bethlehem\u2019s historic district.<\/p>\n

The Creative American Spirit invites viewers to explore diverse interpretations of the theme as interpreted in the form of nature, landscapes, animals, industries, traditions, cultural heritage, history and the beauty found in everyday life.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Creative American Spirit exhibit celebrates one of our country\u2019s greatest strengths \u2014 the ability to imagine, create, build, and inspire,\u201d said exhibition organizer, Tina Cantelmi. She noted that inspiring others to create has become a significant part of the upcoming exhibit.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe artists selected for this exhibition demonstrate the power of creativity to connect communities, preserve stories, and envision new possibilities for the future,\u201d Cantelmi added.<\/p>\n

Participating artists include photographer Skip Cook, abstract realistic Paula Kay, abstract realist painter Victoria Lawrence, glass artist David L. Smith, realist painter Marcia Theodoredis (AKA MTheo); stone sculptor Art Wells; painter Alice George; contemporary artist Toni McGraw; photographer Jacqueline Agentis; fiber artist Stepanie Agentis; and noted contemporary artist Rigo Peralta. The exhibition was curated by Cantelmi, and Janet Pressler.<\/p>\n

Gallery hours are Tuesdays 1 p.m\u00a0 to 5 p.m., Thursdays, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment. Musselman Jewelers is located at 420 Main Street, Bethlehem, PA. Special programming will be announced in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

ABOUT JAACF – The Judith Adele Agentis Charitable Foundation JAACF was created in 2013 by Robert Agentis in memory of his late wife, Judith Adele Agentis, who battled pancreatic cancer at St. Luke\u2019s Hospice House. After experiencing first hand, the compassion and dignity provided through hospice and palliative care, Bob was led to transform his grief into purpose. Agentis and volunteers from JAACF have delivered more than 30,000 meals to nourish families, staff and patients at St. Luke\u2019s Hospice House.<\/p>\n
