Applications for Allentown City Controller will be accepted until close of business on August 17.<\/p>\n
Per the City\u2019s Home Rule Charter, candidates must be residents of the City of the Allentown who have been registered Democrats for at least 30 days prior to the May 27, 2026 vacancy.<\/p>\n
After the close of the application period, all\u00a0eligible\u00a0applicants will be\u00a0interviewed during a Special Council meeting in August.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0Allentown\u00a0City Controller\u00a0serves as the\u00a0chief fiscal officer providing critical financial oversight on behalf of more than 130,000 residents.<\/p>\n
Interested\u00a0qualified\u00a0individuals\u00a0may\u00a0submit a\u00a0resume and a statement listing the value they bring to the City Controller position.<\/p>\n
