Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, PA., June 9, 2026\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Musikfest mugs are an essential for \u2018festers attending the country\u2019s largest free music festival. This year the beloved Musikfest staple features the official 2026 poster artwork by Doug Boehm, which celebrates the nation\u2019s 250th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary with a central theme \u201cMusic Unites,\u201d reflecting both the joy of Musikfest and the unifying power of music.<\/p>\n

Having designed the 2020 Musikfest poster artwork as well, Boehm\u2019s return for 2026 holds special meaning as the nation prepares to celebrate America 250. His artwork captures the spirit of Musikfest while highlighting the way music brings people together during this historic moment.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s mug was also selected for inclusion in the\u00a0Made in Lehigh Valley Time Capsule<\/a>, a regional initiative led by the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC), the National Museum of Industrial History (NMIH) and Discover Lehigh Valley to preserve artifacts that tell the story of the Lehigh Valley\u2019s culture, innovation and community spirit. The time capsule will be sealed later this year and remain closed until 2076 in celebration of the nation\u2019s 300th<\/sup>\u00a0birthday, offering a glimpse into what defined the Lehigh Valley in 2026.<\/p>\n

More than just a souvenir, Musikfest mugs have become a tradition for festivalgoers. Fans purchase them each year to enjoy discounted beer refills at official festival tents and participating bars and restaurants, reduce single-use cup waste throughout the festival and add to their collection of annual mug designs. Proceeds from mug sales also support ArtsQuest\u2019s mission, helping fund free and accessible arts, culture and educational programming throughout the year.<\/p>\n
