TREXLERTOWN, Pa.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Some of the world’s fastest cyclists delivered an unforgettable night of racing Friday as the UCI Fastest Man & Woman on Wheels concluded at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center.<\/p>\n

The evening featured a full program of sprint and endurance events, highlighted by the prestigious UCI Sprint Tournament finals where riders from around the globe battled head-to-head for victory.<\/p>\n

In the Women’s Sprint Tournament, Makaira Wallace of JLD Cycling Academy proved untouchable, sweeping Mandy Marquardt of Edge Cycling in two straight rides to claim the Fastest Woman on Wheels title. Nicole Hacohen Monteros of PACE earned third place after defeating Teigen Pascual in the bronze-medal final.<\/p>\n

On the men’s side, Taeho Choi of Gyeongsangbuk-do Sports Council captured the Fastest Man on Wheels crown, defeating William Munday of Star Track in two rides. Dalton Walters won the bronze-medal final over James Hedgcock of Canada.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the evening, Reagen Pattishall of Turbo Velo Pickle Juice won the Women’s Pro-Am Scratch Race, while Lance Abshire of Chaney Windows and Doors claimed victory in the Men’s Pro-Am Scratch Race.<\/p>\n

The Women’s Points Race featured aggressive racing throughout the 60-lap contest. Dannielle Watkinson of Star Track emerged victorious with 41 points, ahead of McKenzie Milne of CCACHE and Stephanie Lawrence of Star Track.<\/p>\n

The night concluded with a thrilling 90-lap Madison, where the Chaney Windows and Doors duo of Lance Abshire and Magnus Jamieson dominated the field, accumulating 88 points to secure the gold medal. The Star Track pairing of Enzo Edmonds and Otis Engel earned silver, while Liam Trepte and Akil Campbell of PSL-BSR took bronze.<\/p>\n

The UCI Fastest Man & Woman on Wheels once again showcased why the Valley Preferred Cycling Center remains one of the premier track cycling venues in North America, attracting world-class talent and delivering elite international competition to fans in T-Town.<\/p>\n
