Travel + Leisure recognized Bethlehem as one of the best places in America to spend July 4th<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Bethlehem, PA (June 5, 2026) – World renowned travel publication\u00a0Travel + Leisure named Bethlehem a top place to visit for America\u2019s 250th Birthday<\/a>. The publication reported Bethlehem is a history-rich alternative to more crowded destinations with colonial roots. It noted,\u00a0\u201cFor travelers who’d rather skip the crowds of a major city celebration without sacrificing historical depth, Bethlehem offers a fantastic alternative just a short drive away.\u201d<\/p>\n

Travel + Leisure highlighted several offerings from Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites (HBMS). They include the\u00a0Ales & Tales Revolutionary Pub Walking Tour<\/a>\u00a0which invites you to explore some of Bethlehem\u2019s most iconic inns and pubs, and the\u00a0Bethlehem and The Revolution Tour<\/a>\u00a0which highlights Bethlehem\u2019s unique role in America\u2019s fight for independence. The story also highlighted Bethlehem\u2019s World Heritage Site, the Moravian Church Settlements\u2013Bethlehem, and suggested visitors stay at Historic Hotel Bethlehem.<\/p>\n
