Since then, St. Luke\u2019s has continued to grow to meet the health needs of the region\u2019s vibrant community, opening St. Luke\u2019s Upper Bucks Campus nearby in 2019 and adding Grand View Health in Sellersville to the Network in July of this year.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past three decades, more than 2.8 million patients have received care at St. Luke\u2019s facilities in Bucks County \u2013 a figure that includes ER patients, hospital inpatients and out-patients at medical offices.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSt. Luke\u2019s commitment to Quakertown and the surrounding area over the past 30 years has been unwavering, establishing St. Luke\u2019s as a pillar of our community,\u201d said Dennis Pfleiger, the President of St. Luke\u2019s Upper Bucks and Quakertown campuses. \u201cNot only does St. Luke\u2019s contribute to the health and well-being of our community, it also serves as an incredibly important economic engine, providing family-sustaining jobs to thousands of people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Growing St. Luke\u2019s Upper Bucks Campus<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After the St. Luke\u2019s Upper Bucks Campus opened in 2019, the Quakertown Campus transitioned from being an acute care hospital to primarily an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.slhn.org\/locations\/stlukes-penn-foundation-behavioral-health-inpatient-adult-unit-quakertown\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in-patient mental health services<\/a>\u00a0unit. The facility provides personalized inpatient treatment for those with mental illness. It is located at 1021 Park Avenue, Quakertown. The Behavioral Health Unit was a $6.6 million investment.<\/p>\n<p>Other essential health and wellness services that are now available at the St. Luke\u2019s Quakertown Campus include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.slhn.org\/locations\/stlukes-laboratory-services-quakertown\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Laboratory Services<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.slhn.org\/locations\/stlukes-wound-care-center-quakertown\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wound Care Center<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Outpatient Nutritional Counseling<\/li>\n<li>Cardiopulmonary Rehab<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.slhn.org\/locations\/stlukes-hospital-upper-bucks-campus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">St. Luke\u2019s Upper Bucks Campus<\/a>\u00a0includes a full-service 80-bed hospital\u00a0at the intersection of Route 663 and Portzer Road\u00a0in Quakertown.\u00a0The 248,000-square foot facility offers a large ER, spacious private rooms, surgical services, four operating rooms,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.slhn.org\/locations\/interventional-radiology-quakertown-209\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">an interventional radiology lab<\/a>, diagnostic\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.slhn.org\/locations\/imaging-at-stlukes-hospital-upper-bucks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">radiology<\/a>\u00a0and additional\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.slhn.org\/locations\/stlukes-laboratory-services-upper-bucks-campus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lab services<\/a>.\u00a0The hospital is a fully accredited trauma center and a designated Center of Excellence in hernia surgery.\u00a0Its enhanced services and high quality have earned the campus the prestigious Top 100 Hospitals ranking from Premier and an \u2018A\u2019 grade for safety from The Leapfrog Group.<\/p>\n<p>Since opening the Upper Bucks hospital, additional expansions included the Women and Babies Pavilion, Cancer Center and Emergency Department. St. Luke\u2019s investments in the region since 2019 total more than $150 million.<\/p>\n<p>St. Luke\u2019s charitable contributions to the Upper Bucks community over the last 30 years also have been substantial. The community benefit \u2013 comprising in-kind donations, medical and financial assistance, subsidized health services and community health improvement services \u2013 is valued at over $230 million and has earned recognition from the Massachusetts-based Lown Institute.<\/p>\n<p>Upon joining St. Luke\u2019s this summer, Grand View Hospital became St. Luke\u2019s 16<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0campus.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About St. Luke\u2019s<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Founded in 1872, St. Luke\u2019s University Health Network (SLUHN) is a fully integrated, regional, non-profit network with annual net revenue of more than $4 billion. It is the only Lehigh Valley-based health care system to earn Medicare\u2019s five-star ratings (the highest) for quality, efficiency and patient satisfaction. In 2025, the Network earned straight A\u2019s from Leapfrog across all of its 11 acute care hospitals. It has earned 100 Top Hospital designations from Premier 11 years in a row, including in 2021 when its flagship University Hospital was identified as THE #1 TEACHING HOSPITAL IN THE COUNTRY.
