Bethlehem, PA (October 21, 2024):\u00a0The Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce<\/a>\u00a0is thrilled to announce the upcoming arrival of Manga Lane, a family-friendly retail shop specializing in anime, manga,\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon,\u00a0Sanrio,\u00a0Marvel, and more!<\/p>\n

Manga Lane, previously known as Kassidy’s Manga Lane at the Slatington Farmer’s Market, is moving into its own dedicated space in the Main Street Commons building in Historic Downtown Bethlehem. This exciting move marks a significant milestone, which has quickly become a haven for anime enthusiasts of all ages.<\/p>\n

“We are incredibly excited to be expanding into our own space in Bethlehem,” says Kristin Bond, co-owner of Manga Lane. “Our official ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on November 1st at noon, and we can’t wait to welcome the community!”<\/p>\n

Manga Lane offers a wide selection of merchandise, catering to everyone in the family. From classic favorites like\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon\u00a0and\u00a0Sanrio (Hello Kitty)\u00a0to the latest in anime and manga, along with\u00a0Marvel\u00a0collectibles, there’s something for every interest. The store’s origins are heartwarming. Manga Lane began as the dream of co-owner’s 17-year-old daughter, Kassidy, who envisioned a welcoming space for anime and manga lovers to connect and share their passion. Kassidy’s family, also anime fans, joined forces to make her dream a reality. Now, this family-run business, along with a few close friends, is ready to embark on their next chapter in Bethlehem.<\/p>\n

But Manga Lane is more than just a store. They are dedicated to fostering a vibrant community around anime and its many facets. Look out for the launch of Eevee’s Kids Club for young fans and the Atsumaru Club for adult anime fans, both great opportunities to network and share the fun of all thing’s anime. They’ll also be hosting events like trivia nights, game nights, and even a manga book club! Manga Lane is committed to making customers feel welcome and included, and they can’t wait to offer special deals for college and high school students.<\/p>\n

The Downtown Bethlehem Association, a council of The Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, enthusiastically welcomes Manga Lane to the community. “We believe their unique offerings and focus on community building will be a valuable addition to Bethlehem’s Historic District”, as mentioned by Ty Versocki, Manager of the Downtown Bethlehem Association.<\/p>\n
