In the latest installment of our\u00a0KidsPeace Stories<\/em>\u00a0video series, we meet Margie \u2013 a woman who came to KidsPeace residential treatment as a teenager with a history of trauma and self-harming \u2026 and the belief that none of the authority figures in her life cared about her safety.<\/p>\n

But at KidsPeace, she says, she found caring staff that could help provide a safe place for her to work through her challenges.<\/p>\n

Margie describes her experience in treatment \u2013 along with an emotional trip back that she says \u201cfelt like I was coming home.\u201d\u00a0 You can see\u00a0her inspirational story among others at the KidsPeace Stories area of www.kidspeace.org.<\/a><\/p>\n
