June 6, 2023, LOS ANGELES \u2013 TOOL return to the road this Fall, expanding on their recently announced festival appearances (Power Trip, Aftershock and Louder Than Life) with a six- week, North American tour that includes a stop at PPL Center in Allentown, PA, on November 7.<\/p>\n

Tickets are on-sale this Friday, June 9 at 10 am. Pre-sale tickets are available exclusively via TOOL\u2019s fan club, TOOL Army<\/a>, beginning on June 8 at 10 am. A limited number of VIP<\/p>\n

packages, including premium tickets, soundcheck access, exclusive merchandise and more, will be offered to TOOL Army members simultaneously, with remaining options available to the general public as the on-sale begins on June 9.<\/p>\n

Since the 2019 release of the TOOL\u2019s critically-acclaimed album, Fear Inoculum<\/em><\/a>, the band has won a GRAMMY Award\u00ae (Best Metal Performance for \u201c7empest\u201d), completed sold-out tours of both the U.S. and Europe, and headlined Bonnaroo, Welcome to Rockville and the Sonic Temple Arts & Music Festival. TOOL marked the 30th<\/sup> anniversary of the Opiate <\/em>EP with the 2022 release of \u201cOpiate2<\/sup><\/a>,\u201d a re-imagining of the EP\u2019s title track, released in tandem with a breathtaking 10-minute short film crafted by Adam Jones and visual artist Dominic Hailstone (\u201cAlien: Covenant\u201d, \u201cThe Eel\u201d).<\/p>\n

Reviews from TOOL\u2019s sold-out 2022 tours praised the four-piece, with Loudwire <\/em>dubbing the performances as \u201ca masterclass of immersion, sound and stage design, musicianship\u2026 and levels of ungodly tightness.\u201d The Austin Chronicle <\/em>described the incomparable live experience as an \u201cunbridled exchange of catharsis between performers and fans.\u201d Revolver<\/em>, covering the Welcome to Rockville 2023, said \u201cTOOL delivered a stunning\u2026 set featuring classic fan favorites, newer Fear Inoculum <\/em>standouts and choice deeper cuts \u2026 the striking visuals also included a psychedelic laser and projections show bar none.\u201d<\/p>\n

TOOL formed in 1990, releasing five studio albums: Undertow <\/em>(1993), \u00c6nima <\/em>(1996), Lateralus <\/em>(2001),10,000 Days <\/em>(2006), and Fear Inoculum <\/em>(2019); two EPs: 72826 <\/em>(1991) and Opiate <\/em>(1992), and the limited-edition boxset Salival <\/em>(2000). The band has won four GRAMMY Awards\u00ae: Best Metal Performance (1998, \u201c\u00c6nima\u201d), Best Metal Performance (2002, \u201cSchism\u201d), Best Recording Package (2007, 10,000 Days<\/em>) and Best Metal Performance (2020, \u201c7empest\u201d).
