The informal reading will be held at Hava Java of Allentown (526 N. 19th St.) at <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1575757818\"><span class=\"aQJ\">7pm<\/span><\/span> on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1575757819\"><span class=\"aQJ\">February 16, 2016<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The play follows the story of African-American brothers, Lincoln (late 30s) and Booth (early 30s), living together. They must face addiction, white supremacy, their troubled upbringing, and who the world thinks they&#8217;re going to be. After their parents deserted the boys at 16 and 11, they depended on each other. To support themselves now, Lincoln has taken a job as an Abraham Lincoln impersonator while Booth is trying to become a card shark at three-card monte.<\/p>\n<p>Part of the monthly reading series, Theatre Cafe (every third <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1575757820\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Tuesday<\/span><\/span> of the month), the performance is also featured under the Valley-wide Voices of Conscience (VOC) series because its deals with themes of race, gender and economic class.
