BETHLEHEM, Pa. \u2013 ArtsQuest is proud to announce a variety of shows in the\u00a0Musikfest Caf\u00e9<\/a>, presented by Yuengling, for the spring of 2022. Tickets to these shows will go on sale beginning\u202fWed., Dec.\u202f8 for\u202fArtsQuest Members\u202fand\u202fFri.,\u202fDec. 10\u202fto the\u202fgeneral\u202fpublic at\u202fsteelstacks.org<\/a>. Crash Test Dummies<\/strong>\u00a0will hit the road 30 years after the release of their Canadian Juno Award winning debut album \u201cThe Ghosts That Haunt Me,\u201d on\u00a0Sun., May 15<\/strong>. The Musikfest Caf\u00e9 stage will host the three-time Grammy nominated group for their 25th Anniversary Tour. The Canadian group will bring its original members to perform fan favorites such as \u201cSuperman\u2019s Song,\u201d \u201cThe Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead\u201d and \u201cMmm Mmm Mmm Mmm.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lauren Alaina\u2019s Top of The World Tour presented by Maurices<\/strong>, with opening act Spencer Crandall, will perform on the Musikfest Caf\u00e9 stage\u00a0Fri., March 4<\/strong>. The American Idol runner up turned country-pop singer\/songwriter took inspiration for her album \u201cSitting Pretty on Top of the World\u201d from a more classic country style to craft her heartfelt tales and honest self-reflections learned during the pandemic. She will perform her newly composed ballads along with well-known Billboard Chart toppers, \u201cLike My Mother Does,\u201d \u201cGeorgia Peaches\u201d and \u201cEighteen Inches.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tommy Castro & The Painkiller\u2019s 30th Anniversary Tour featuring special guest Deanna Bogart<\/strong>\u00a0will showcase its decades long career on the Musikfest Caf\u00e9 stage on\u00a0Thurs., March 31<\/strong>. Tommy, the ever-evolving musician, recently released \u201cA Bluesman Came to Town,\u201d a 13-track travel log album inspired by his own life and stories passed down from friends. Castro\u2019s song catalog covers everything from blues to soul, to acoustic ballads to dance-inducing rock. This show is guaranteed to have something for everyone.<\/p>\n

Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes<\/strong>, will bring their exuberant rhythm and blues trademark sound to the Musikfest Caf\u00e9 on\u00a0Fri., April 8<\/strong>. Though influenced by their New Jersey roots, Johnny and the Jukes have evolved into a R&B horn driven band in the Memphis style tradition over their three-decade spanning career. Lead by John Lyon, this high energy band is well known for a no-holds-barred horn-strong song style that includes \u201cI Don\u2019t Wanna Go Home,\u201d \u201cHavin\u2019 a Party\u201d and \u201cThis Time It\u2019s for Real.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition, the Musikfest Caf\u00e9 will host\u00a0The Aardvarks<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0Sat., March 12<\/strong>\u00a0with opener\u00a0The Jess Novak Band<\/strong>, New-York based band\u00a0The Slackers<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0Fri., April 1<\/strong>, and American Idol star Tristan McIntosh\u2019s\u00a0The Linda Ronstadt Experience<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0Sat., April 23<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
