Citizens can vote in-person at the Government Center at 669 Washington Street, Easton, PA 18042, Monday through Friday from 8:30AM \u2013 6:00PM until October 25, 2021. On October 26th, Ballot-on-Demand voting hours will end at 5:00PM.<\/p>\n<p>Residents of Northampton County who are eligible to vote can come to the Elections Office, register if they have not already, fill out a ballot application, vote on a paper ballot and turn it in all in the same visit. Showing ID is required before receiving your ballot.<\/p>\n<p>Registered voters who have already applied for a mail-in ballot are not eligible for Ballot-on-Demand and must wait to receive their ballot in the mail. The Elections Office expects to start mailing ballots out by the beginning of October.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Instructions for mail-in ballots<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Elections Office has begun sending mail-in ballots out through the United States Postal Service for the General Election on November 2nd. Anyone who wants to vote by mail, must apply by October 26th. Applications for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballots are available in the Election\u2019s Office or at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vote.pa.gov\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.vote.pa.gov<\/a> Voters can check the status of their ballot at that website.<\/p>\n<p>Mail-in ballots must meet the following criteria to be counted.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 The ballot must be sealed inside the secrecy envelope<br \/>\n\u00b7 If the secrecy envelope contains any text, marks or symbols which reveals the identity of the elector, the elector\u2019s political affiliation or the elector\u2019s candidate preference, the envelope and the ballot it contains will be set aside and declared void<br \/>\n\u00b7 The voter must sign and date the outer return envelope<br \/>\n\u00b7 The ballot must be received by the Elections Office by 8:00PM on November 2nd<\/p>\n<p>Voters can return mail-in ballots by bringing them directly to the Elections Office at the Government Center at 669 Washington Street, Easton, PA, by using one of the county\u2019s four secure ballot drop-off boxes or through the U.S. mail. Third party return of ballots is prohibited unless the person returning the ballot is rendering assistance to a disabled voter or emergency absentee voter and has a signed \u201cCertification of Designated Agent\u201d form.
