With the FDA\u2019s formal approval of Pfizer\u2019s vaccine, Lamont McClure reminds residents that Northampton County sponsors a COVID-19 drive-through site for both vaccinations and testing. The site is located at Coordinated Health, 3100 Emrick Boulevard, Bethlehem, PA 18020. Hours of operation are Monday\/Wednesday\/Friday from 10:00AM \u2013 2:00PM and Tuesday\/Thursday from 3:00PM \u2013 6:00PM. All three vaccines are available by appointment for County residents: Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson . Appointments are not required for COVID-19 tests.<\/div>\n

\u201cDrive-through clinics are convenient, especially for anyone with a mobility problem,\u201d says Lamont McClure. \u201cI encourage everyone who can get vaccinated, but has not currently done so, to get the shot, especially now that the Pfizer vaccine has received full approval from the FDA.\u201d<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Pfizer vaccine has been approved for ages twelve-and-up. Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are available to those age eighteen-and-older. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is a single dose. Those receiving the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will require a second dose three weeks after the first shot.<\/div>\n

To make an appointment for a vaccine at the COVID-19 testing site use one of the following options:<\/div>\n

  1. Schedule at the LVHN website at\u00a0LVHN.org\/appointments<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Schedule\u00a0on the MyLVHN patient portal, at\u00a0MyLVHN.org<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  3. Call\u00a0833-584-6283 (833-LVHN-CVD)<\/a>. The COVID-19 Vaccine Hotline is open Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    A Physician\u2019s order is not required for a COVID-19 test. The drive-through site is open to everyone, but only residents of Northampton County will have the cost of testing covered by the County if they do not have health coverage. All testing will be through HNL Lab Medicine unless insurance requires an alternate laboratory. Participants should bring a photo ID and their insurance card, if they have one, with them to the testing site.<\/div>\n

     <\/p>\n

    The drive-through vaccination\/testing center is a collaboration between the Northampton County Department of Community and Economic Development, Emergency Management Services and Lehigh Valley Hospital-Coordinated Health Allentown Hospital (LVH-CHA).<\/div>\n
