Rep.\u00a0Ryan Mackenzie (R- Berks\/Lehigh)\u00a0is inviting area senior citizens and their caregivers to his annual Senior Expo on Thursday, Sept. 30, at the Lower Macungie Township Community Center, 3450 Brookside Road, Macungie. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Senior Expo is always a fun day with lots of great information shared with all the attendees,\u201d said Mackenzie. \u201cI encourage all area seniors and caregivers to come out and join us.\u201d<\/p>\n
There will be over 50 vendors, ranging from local, state, and federal agencies along with a variety of senior-focused organizations offering information about programs and services designed to meet the needs of older Pennsylvanians. In addition, there will also be a number of free health screenings, a light lunch will be served, and door prizes will be awarded. You do not need to be present when the door prizes are drawn. You do not need to RSVP for the Senior Expo.<\/p>\n
This year, Rep. Ryan Mackenzie invites seniors to join him for a few rounds of Bingo immediately following the Senior Expo at 1:00 PM. If you are interested in playing Bingo, please call the district office at 610-965-9933 to RSVP.<\/p>\n
