{"id":100956,"date":"2020-05-18T22:31:54","date_gmt":"2020-05-19T02:31:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=100956"},"modified":"2020-05-18T22:31:54","modified_gmt":"2020-05-19T02:31:54","slug":"100-bottles-for-100-essential-workers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevalleyledger.com\/?p=100956","title":{"rendered":"100 Bottles for 100 Essential Workers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Setter Ridge Vineyards is celebrating and thanking 100 Essential Workers over the next 8 weeks with a donation of wine to each worker selected.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>KUTZTOWN, PA<\/strong> &#8211; Setter Ridge Vineyards is excited to announce their 100 Bottles for 100 Essential Workers program.\u00a0 Every week Setter Ridge Vineyards will be donating 12 bottles of wine to 12 essential workers until 100 bottles are donated!\u00a0 We appreciate the hard work essential workers, such as those in health care, grocery stores, transportation\/delivery, farming, first responders and many more have been doing throughout the past 8 weeks. We want to provide them a few moments of relaxation and a small token of appreciation from their community.\u00a0 Through nominations from the community, we will be choosing 100 workers to recognize.<\/p>\n<p>Setter Ridge Vineyards will be donating the full cost of our wine, however if others are in a position to help, we would appreciate any aid in offsetting the delivery cost associated with shipping bottles of wine.\u00a0 To ship a single bottle of wine via FedEx to a home costs approximately $15.00 per delivery. Donations will ONLY apply to shipping costs. Donations will not go towards the cost of the wine.\u00a0 Donations can be made through our website or by contacting the winery at 610.683.8463.\u00a0 We thank everyone for any help you can give to celebrate our front line workers.<\/p>\n<p>All essential workers chosen for 100 Bottles for 100 Essential Workers will be able to choose 1 bottle of Setter Ridge Vineyards wine from the following selection \u2013 Riesling, Chardonnay &#8211; <em>Richard J Vineyard<\/em>, Pinot Noir, Three Sisters or Setter Ridge White.<\/p>\n<p>Submissions can be made beginning May 14th, with the first case of wine being donated the week of May 17th.\u00a0 Visit our facebook and instagram pages as we highlight the wonderful essential workers we have in our community!<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>All nominees must be 21 years of age or older.<\/p>\n<p>All nominees must reside in Berks County or the surrounding counties of Chester, Montgomery, Lehigh, Schuylkill, Lebanon, or Lancaster.<\/p>\n<p>All those individuals who are nominated must include a picture of the nominee plus at least 2 sentences of why they are being nominated to Missy at <a href=\"mailto:mwilson@setterridgevineyards.com\">mwilson@setterridgevineyards.com<\/a>.\u00a0 All information submitted can be used by Setter Ridge Vineyards.\u00a0 If using social media when promoting your favorite essential workers, please use the hashtag #100SetterRidgeBottles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Setter Ridge Vineyards<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Setter Ridge Vineyards (previously Blair Vineyards) moved their tasting room and operations in June 2010 to a new state of the art building conveniently located miles off exit 40 on I-78 west of Allentown.
