This 5-week rock band rehearsal and performance intensive is open to musicians ready to gain experience playing and rehearsing in a group setting. Students with experience on any band instrument (guitar, bass guitar, drums, piano\/keyboard, brass, woodwinds, or voice) are encouraged to join!
This performance ensemble will focus on popular cover songs and provide the opportunity for the creation of original music. Band members will learn to jam, write, rehearse, and gig like a pro musician, with a finale performance at Musikfest on the Plaza Tropical stage, on Thursday, Aug 6!<\/p>\n

Audition Requirements: <\/p>\n

Interested students must submit a short audition video by Wed, Jun 24, showcasing on their chosen instrument performing two contrasting styles, under one minute each. Students will be notified of the audition results by Fri, Jun 26. Preference will be given to advanced and intermediate students who are currently enrolled in private lessons at CMS. Beginners with confidence on their instruments are also welcome to audition.<\/p>\n
