Fans filled The Sands Event Center Tuesday night as Paramore made a stop in the Lehigh Valley on their ‘Tour Two’. Best Coast opened the show, and the anticipation grew as fans waited for Paramore to take the stage.
Paramore opened with “Hard Times” from their latest release, the fans sang along and cheered which made it difficult to hear the actual lyrics from lead singer Hayley Williams. The crowd got even louder for “Still Into You” as Williams’ high energy dance movements covered the entire stage.
It was a rowdy crowd, and Paramore gave the audience exactly what they wanted as they also performed “Daydreaming”, “Brick by Boring Brick”, “That’s What You Get”, “Told You So”, “Fake Happy”, and “Ain’t it Fun.”
Williams may very well be the pop punk princess, as she remarked that she finally got a large enough stage to dance, and the audience cheered her on even more. For a weeknight night concert, it gave the crowd the opportunity to blow off a little steam, and thoroughly enjoy one of today’s best loved musical acts.
