The Cygan Family hosted the 3rd annual Amy’s Ride/Run/Walk. The event started at 7 with the 42 mile bike route, followed by a 24 mile bike ride starting at 8 A.M. The event also held a 5k run/walk that looped around Quakertown Memorial Park.
This is a memorial event featuring cycling, running and walking that raises money to fund pancreatic cancer research, awareness and advocacy efforts, with an emphasis on progressive research programs and initiatives. In the event’s 2 year history they have raised over $58,000 in donations for Jefferson Hospital’s pancreatic research department.
