CITIZENS AGAINST HIGHER TAXES ENDORSES NAT HYMAN FOR MAYOR OF ALLENTOWN



 

Allentown, PA – Citizens Against Higher Taxes endorsed entrepreneur and CEO, Nat Hyman for Mayor of Allentown.  

Chairman Dr. Jim Broussard stated, “Nat Hyman is a fiscal conservative who understands the need to keep taxes low, control government spending and facilitate pro-growth policies. Nat’s extensive business experience is exactly what Allentown needs to encourage economic development for businesses and a prosperous community for citizens.” 

Hyman thanked Citizens Against Higher Taxes for their endorsement. “Citizens Against Higher Taxes has been a watchdog for taxpayers and I am honored to receive their endorsement.  I look forward to working along with Jim to ensure that the citizens of Allentown are protected from excessive government taxes and that tax dollars of hardworking people are used efficiently.” 

Nat Hyman was born and raised in Allentown, his father was a doctor here for 55 years and Nat along with his wife Erica raised their 2 daughters Julia and Lizzie here in Allentown.  He attended Parkland High School and earned his B.A. from Georgetown University and his Masters Degree from Columbia University.  

Nat began his business, Landau, with 1 store and grew it to 104 stores nationwide. It is the only national retail chain with headquarters in Allentown, PA.  He then started Hyman Properties by purchasing one building in Allentown.  The company now owns over 1,000,000 square feet of building space in Allentown taking blighted properties, restoring them into attractive and affordable housing and putting them back on the tax rolls. Hyman Properties takes no government incentives, tax abatements or government assistance of any sort.
