CONGRESSMAN CHARLIE DENT ENDORSES BRAD OSBORNE FOR LEHIGH COUNTY EXECUTIVE

LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Congressman Charlie Dent (R-PA) announced his endorsement of Brad Osborne for Lehigh County Executive.

“Lehigh County needs an executive who will lead by example and with integrity. Brad Osborne is that leader,” said Dent, who represents Lehigh County in the U.S. House of Representatives. “I’m proud to endorse Brad Osborne to be my county executive and I hope you’ll join me.”

Dent emphasized Osborne’s record of making government transparent and accountable: “Throughout his years in public service, Brad has used his business sense and collaborative approach to solve problems in government. He has fought to make government more transparent and responsive to our citizens, while keeping a watchful eye on finances.  As Commissioner, he cut taxes four out of the last five years and returned $25 million to taxpayers of Lehigh County.”

Osborne’s work on both the Lehigh County Board of Commissioners and on the South Whitehall Board of Commissioners has helped yield a dozen budgets, all without any tax increases.

Osborne thanked Dent for his support. “Congressman Dent is one of us and has dedicated his life to serving our communities. He has brought jobs to the Valley and stood up for our veterans. His support speaks volumes and I am honored to have it.”

Dent has represented the 15th congressional district, which includes all of Lehigh County, since 2005.  He previously represented the county in the Pennsylvania State Senate and the State House of Representatives.
