Allentown, PA (March 29, 2017) Lehigh Parkway Elementary School has been identified as an exemplary school in The Leader in Me (TLIM) program. Due to this identification, the school was selected from thousands of schools nationwide participating in TLIM to be featured in a new Franklin Covey project to enhance TLIM website with online reference tools around the highly effective practices of the TLIM framework.
A small team will be at Lehigh Parkway throughout the day on March 30 to capture Lehigh Parkway students, teachers, staff and administrator’s daily participation in TLIM practices. Additionally, the team will be on hand to highlight the school’s Leader in Me Community Night that begins at 6:00 p.m. that evening in the Gym. Students will present to their families and community how they use their “Seven Habits” in school and at home.
“This is an amazing compliment for our daily efforts,” states Lehigh Parkway Principal Will Seng. “To know that the Franklin Covey Group wants to share our success with other educators so that they can implement similar initiatives in their school is a testament to our faculty and students, and the fidelity to which the program is being implemented here.”
Lehigh Parkway, located at 1708 Coronado Street, Allentown, is in its first year as a Leader in Me school. All elementary schools in the Allentown School District will implement TLIM by next year.
