The 2017 Teddy Bedrossian Ski-A-Thon is just a few weeks away. Please join us for a great cause and a fun day of skiing and riding at Blue Mountain!

The 7th Annual Ski-A-Thon is on Sunday, March 12 at Blue Mountain Resort, Palmerton, PA. Check-in is from 8am – 11am. The Ski-A-Thon is from 9am – 1pm followed by a reception from 1pm – 2:30 pm. An Awards Ceremony follows in the Vista Ballroom at the Summit Lodge.

Prizes are offered to the individual, and the team of 4, who log the most runs in a 4-hour period. Other awards are for most funds raised, the most number of sponsors, the coolest team name, and the funkiest ski hat or helmet. Prizes include lodging, lift tickets, gift cards, ski clothing, and more. The real winners are Teddy’s friends with special needs! 

This event has been created in loving memory of Teddy Bedrossian, an 18-yr-old, medically fragile boy who passed away of kidney failure. Unable to talk or hear, he brought an indescribable richness to those he met through acts of kindness and his contagious smile. He attended Elwyn, a unique non-profit organization that provides services to those with physical, intellectual and developmental disabilities. Elwyn is in desperate need to replace their aging infrastructure and the Ski-a-thon will raise funds for a new school in Teddy’s memory.
