The City of Allentown will host a stakeholders’ meeting to hear the results of a feasibility study of roadway improvements at the southern gateway of the Lehigh River Waterfront area on Tuesday, December 16 at America on Wheels.
The meeting will be conducted by the Allentown Department of Public Works and the Planning and Zoning bureaus along with representatives of project consultant McMahon Associates, Inc. It will take place from 5pm-7pm in the Hub Cap Café at America on Wheels located at 5 North Front Street.
Property and business owners in the area will hear the results of a feasibility study to improve the safety, operations, pedestrian mobility and local access near the intersection of Hamilton, Front, Union and Walnut streets at the foot of the Hamilton Street Bridge. The feasibility study builds upon the recommendations contained in the Lehigh River Waterfront Master Plan.
