Cystic Fibrosis Foundation “Finest” Honoree, Emily Conners, partners with K.Shan Performance Fitness Training to present “Sweat for CF”.
ALLENTOWN, PA (9/8/16) – Cystic Fibrosis Foundation “Finest” Honoree, Emily Conners, is partnering with K.Shan Performance Fitness Training to present “Sweat for CF”. “Sweat for CF” will raise the much needed funds to help cure Cystic Fibrosis. All proceeds will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-threatening genetic disease that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. An estimated 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide) have CF. The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care.
Emily Conners has been recognized by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as a Lehigh Valley’s “Finest” Honoree. This recognizes Lehigh Valley men and women ages 25 and over that exemplify strong leadership qualities, are active volunteers and excel in their chosen profession. The Finest campaign is designed to spotlight young leaders, honoring their professional and charitable accomplishments.
By accepting this honoree, Emily has teamed up with K.Shan Performance Fitness Training to make CF stand for Cure Found! Join us on October 8th at 8, 9, or 10 am for group fitness sessions, led by Kyle Shannon, founder of K.Shan Performance Fitness Training. Bonus competitions to be held at the end of each group will help us raise additional funds!
