Don Henley was timeless as he rocked the Sands Steel Stage at Musikfest with a great performance. Henley played all the hits, his own and from the Eagles. He also included songs from his new album Cass County. The third song in the set was perfect given the location since it was about his uncle who worked in a steel mill. Cass County, is Henley’s first solo album in over a decade, is named after the northeastern Texas area where Don grew up. This album may be considered both a reflection on his past and a look forward at his artistic direction. New or old Don Henley thrilled the crowd at Musikfest.
