The Pigs lost to the Norfolk Tides 8-6 last night. The Tides started off with 4 runs, but the Pigs quickly caught up with 3 runs by the end of the first inning. The Pigs were able to score another 3 runs in the second, but the Tides finished strong resulting in an 8-6 loss for the IronPigs. Some highlights were Cody Asche’s home run and Knapp and Hunter’s RBI singles in the first. Stassi hit a two run single and Williams hit in a run in the second inning. Another notable game moment was when Venable’s bat flew out of his hands into crowd. Luckily everyone was ok! The last game of this series against the Tides is tonight at 7:05pm at Coca-Cola Park.
