WHAT: Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley’s 4th annual She Nailed It! Competition
WHEN: Tuesday, May 3 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
WHERE: ArtsQuest Musikfest Cafe (101 Founders Way, Bethlehem, PA 18015)
Women in the Lehigh Valley will be competing in an action packed ladies- only nail-hammering competition called the She Nailed It! Social and Competition on May 3rd in support of the Women Build Initiative. Funds raised will support a Habitat for Humanity home in Easton and the benefiting Habitat homebuyer will be a keynote speaker. Stephanie Wells of Mike and Steph in the Morning on B104 will emcee the event.
Teams of four will compete to see who can hammer home the cause! Each team member is tasked with hammering a nail as quickly as possible into a 2×4 wooden stud, and the team to hammer their nails the fastest will be named the 2016 She Nailed It! Champions. Each nail hammerer raised $250 in donations from friends and family, and all donations benefit a Women Build home in Easton to be purchased by a Habitat homebuyer. The 2016 Champions will be awarded Golden Hammer Awards. Additionally, we will also present an award to the top individual fundraiser, the top team fundraiser, and a Top Rookie Award will be given to the team with the fastest time among first-time teams.
The event will feature a new raffle opportunity to win a 4-person all-female team spot (a $1,000 value) in our historic 5th anniversary year competition in May 2017. Draft your dream team and include your friends, your family, or your colleagues. Raffle tickets are sold online at www.habitatlv.org.
