ALLENTOWN, PA — The Allentown Police Department is recruiting for the next class of its Citizen’s Police Academy, an interactive, in-person program designed to strengthen the relationship between the police department and the community it serves.
The Academy will run Monday and Wednesday evenings from April 28 through June 4, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and will offer participants an inside look at police operations, training, and specialized units within the department.
“We’re excited to welcome residents into our department and provide them with a hands-on learning experience,” said Officer Jacqueline Murray of the Community Outreach Unit. “This program is a great opportunity for open dialogue, community engagement, and mutual understanding.”
