Congressman Mackenzie Hosts Successful District-Wide Telephone Town Hall, Answers Questions from Constituents Across 7th District

ALLENTOWN, PA — Tonight, Congressman Ryan Mackenzie, representing the Greater Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District, hosted a district-wide telephone town hall that gave residents an opportunity to connect directly with their representative in Congress.
Congressman Mackenzie provided updates on his work in Washington and answered questions on key issues facing Greater Lehigh Valley families. Topics of discussion included efforts to reduce costs for working families, border security, foreign affairs, local issues, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, federal budgeting, and the national debt. Nearly 6,000 constituents joined the live call to listen or make their concerns heard.
“It’s a privilege to be able to connect directly with the people of the Greater Lehigh Valley and hear their thoughts,” said Congressman Mackenzie. “In addition to the local, in person Q&As  I’ve recently attended, tonight’s town hall gave us the opportunity to discuss a wide range of issues, covering the biggest challenges facing our country as well as topics that are closer to home. We talked about critical issues with a bipartisan audience and did it in a way that was respectful, constructive, informative, and educational. I’m grateful to the thousands of residents who joined this call to listen and ask questions, and I’m looking forward to continuing the conversation with future events.”
