EASTON, Pa.—Greater Lehigh Valley Writers’ Group (GLVWG) will hold its monthly meeting from 10 a.m. – noon on Saturday, February 22, 2025. The meeting is offered in a hybrid format—in-person at the Palmer Branch of the Easton Library, 1 Weller Place, Palmer, PA, and online via Zoom.

From 11 a.m.-12 noon, GLVWG member Laurel Wenson will give an orientation for the group’s 2025 Write Stuff Conference. Whether members are attending for the first time or have been attending for years, it’s always nice to have an idea of what to expect upon arrival, from where to park to what to bring. There is no cost for the program.

From 1:30 to 3:00 p.m., photographer Joan Zachary will offer pointers for taking a striking author photo. Additionally, Angel Ackerman and Laurel Wenson will give pointers for pitching a manuscript to an agent or editor and will ask for volunteers who would like to practice their pitch in a timed role play. You must register to attend the afternoon program. The workshop is free for GLVWG members, $15 for non-members.
