Everyone knows the restaurant scene in Easton has flourished over the past decade. Not just in the downtown, but throughout Easton. This has been the foundation of the Easton Renaissance. Much like the restaurants in Olde City helped turn Philadelphia around in the 1990s.
Cliff Ross, an ad agency, design studio and print shop, with offices in Easton’s Centre Square and The Poconos has launched “Easton Restaurant Year – 2025”. “We work with many restaurants in Easton and beyond.” states Cliff Ross “We decided it was time to celebrate them all year long. We’ve noticed a bit of slow down in business with many restaurants, starting in August of 2024. Credit card debt is high, so going out to eat is one of the first things people cut out”
Ross did some research on this. He contacted a colleague that works with restaurant POS systems. She confirmed that pretty much across the board, looking at the stats, dining out was in decline. So Ross and his team came up with “Easton Restaurant Year – 2025.
“It is completely free for any Easton restaurant to participate. They can send us content to post on our social media (@eastonfoodie) , put in our new monthly e-newsletter and more.” says Ross. And it’s a win-win. According to www.EastonRestaurantYear.com, restaurants can send specials and deals to the site for posting. So consumers can easily discover discounts and specials, making it more affordable to dine out.
“It can also be difficult to advertise a restaurant” says Ross. “Many just have an employee or someone with an iphone creating content. That’s not going to cut it. If any business owner is serious, they understand they need to have an ad budget and an ad plan to get real results and fill the seats.”
However many restaurants don’t have a big budget for ad spend. This is another reason why Easton Restaurant Year 2025 was launched. “This makes it easy to get the word out at no cost, executed by professionals. Plus we’re offering all Easton based restaurants discounted design and printing services for all of 2025. We love the Easton restaurant scene and we love working with them. We’re happy to do this – stay tuned!” exclaims Ross.
