EASTON, Pa.—Greater Lehigh Valley Writers’ Group (GLVWG) will hold its monthly meeting from 10 a.m. – noon, Saturday, October 26, 2024. The meeting is offered in a hybrid format—in-person at the Palmer Branch of the Easton Library, 1 Weller Place, Palmer, PA, and online via Zoom.

From 11 a.m.-12 noon, Lara Ehrlich, an award-winning author with over 20 years of experience in marketing and communications for artists and writers, will present “Crafting a Literary Life” virtually via Zoom. This presentation will help writers overcome creative barriers like self-doubt, procrastination, and perfectionism. It provides practical tools and strategies to build a sustainable writing practice, tackle obstacles, and stay motivated. There is no fee for the morning program. Registration is recommended but not required.

From 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., Ehrlich will lead “Book Promotion and Marketing: Strategies for Success”, a virtual workshop on Zoom. Participants will learn key strategies to effectively promote and market their book, from building a strong author brand to leveraging social media, securing media coverage, and planning a successful book launch. Ehrlich will cover how authors can create a marketing plan that resonates with their audience, utilize email marketing, explore paid advertising, and connect meaningfully with their community. Join us to elevate your book’s visibility and achieve success in today’s competitive market! The workshop is free for members; $15 for non-members via Acupay.

All program attendees must be 18 years or older. Email glvwg.vebmeister@gmail.com to receive the Zoom link. For more information or to register for the events, go to greaterlehighvalleywritersgroup.wildapricot.org; “GLVWG Events”.
