Carbon County, PA – The Carbon County Chamber & Economic Development Corporation, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, is excited to partner with Carbon PA CareerLink and the Pocono Counties Workforce Development Area for the 2024 Carbon PA CareerLink Job Fair! The event will take place on Thursday, October 10, from 10 AM – 1 PM at PA CareerLink Carbon County, located at 50 E. Locust St., Nesquehoning.

“The Chamber is incredibly proud to partner on this important initiative, which represents a vital opportunity to connect the talented individuals of our County with meaningful employment,” said Kylie Adams-Weiss, SVP of the Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation. “Carbon County is home to a vibrant business community and we know that opportunities like this provide them exposure to job seekers and our community. This event not only strengthens our community but drives important economic growth to the region.”

This week’s Job Fair will feature businesses from various sectors, all seeking talented employees in different fields. Businesses confirmed include (as of 10/7): Domestic Violence Service Center, Express Employment Services, Matrix Behavior Solutions LLC, Mauch Chunk Trust, PA Department of Corrections, Panther Creek Energy, Pencor, St. Luke’s Carbon Campus, St. Luke’s Miners Campus, and Structural Metal Fabricators.

This event is free and open to the public; job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes and to gather information from the participating businesses.
