Become a more trauma-informed practitioner and make a difference in the lives of trauma survivors.

BETHLEHEM, PA – Northampton Community College (NCC) is offering a new Trauma Informed Care certificate program that will equip participants with the knowledge and skills to understand the effects of trauma on individuals and support survivors in a professional capacity. This program is ideal for educators, healthcare and human service providers, first responders, social workers, and daycare staff.

The program consists of five self-paced virtual modules that cover a range of topics including Trauma and Its Impacts, The Behavioral Neuroscience of Trauma, The Psychology of Stress Management, Building Resilience in Trauma Survivors, and Supporting Mental Wellness with Trauma-Informed Care Systems.
