Northampton County Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Event

County Executive Lamont G. McClure and the Northampton County Department of Public Works will hold a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on September 30th at Northampton Community College (3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem, PA) from 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM, rain or shine. This event is intended for Northampton County residents only; online pre-registration is required.

County residents will have the opportunity to sign-up for one appointment per household. Sign-ups will be ‘first come, first served.’ An email confirmation with a printable ticket will be issued upon successfully registering. The confirmation ticket or email must be presented at check-in, and identification/proof of residency must match the address on the registration.

You must arrive within the scheduled timeframe, not before or after. If you need to change your confirmed time, you must delete or cancel your appointment on Eventbrite and re-register. There is no guarantee that an appointment will still be available if you cancel. Those who show up without an appointment will be turned away.

The registration link, along with user instructions, will be available on the County website (northamptoncounty.org) at 8:00 AM on August 30, 2023, through September 25, or until slots are filled. Time slots will be in 15-minute increments.

This is a no-contact event which means drivers must remain inside their vehicles upon arrival. Material must be accessible from the trunk, cargo area, or bed of a truck. Event staff will remove all items from those locations.
