LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. — myHR Partner, a pioneering human resources outsourcing firm serving small- and mid-sized organizations, private foundations, nonprofits and academia, in 40 states, has been named to Inc. magazine’s prestigious Best Workplaces list for 2023. Published in the national magazine’s May/June 2023 issue and prominently featured on Inc.com, the list is the result of a comprehensive measurement of American companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces and company culture.
myHR Partner was one of only two companies in the greater Lehigh Valley and only 18 in the entire commonwealth of Pennsylvania to be honored. The only other Lehigh Valley company on the list, BSI Corporate Benefits of Bethlehem, is a myHR Partner client and employee benefits consultant.
Out of the 591 companies on the list, only 28 are in the “human resources” category, a majority of which are staffing and hiring services that do not provide the full breadth of HR services, insight and guidance that myHR Partner offers to improve a company’s HR function.
“Companies around the United States partner with us to create exceptional workplaces. By handling an entire company’s HR needs as well as mission-critical projects, we are able to elevate our clients’ businesses through their people. Creating great workplaces is at the core of what we do every day. Being named as one of the best in the country shows how seriously we embrace our mission,” said Tina Hamilton, founder and CEO of myHR Partner. “Our team members take an active role in building the myHR Partner culture. They are equally passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience with our clients nationwide.”
The Inc. Best Workplaces honor is the latest of several national-level awards myHR Partner has garnered, including the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in 2021 and 2022 and the Entrepreneur 360 list of best entrepreneurial companies in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Closer to home, myHR Partner has been in the top five Best Places to Work in PA for businesses with 15-99 employees in 2022 and 2021.
“Building a top-notch workplace takes constant effort and commitment,” said Hamilton. “The long-term benefits of a strong culture – loyalty, longevity, productivity and job satisfaction – are always worth the investment of time and energy.”
Rigorous process to evaluate companies for Inc. list
After collecting data from thousands of submissions, Inc. selected 591 honorees this year. Each
company that was nominated took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, which included topics such as management effectiveness, perks, fostering employee growth, and overall company culture. The organization’s benefits were also audited to determine overall score and ranking.
“Being named to Best Workplaces is an honor that only a small fraction of companies have been able to claim,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “Proving to the world that you’re a magnet for talent and have a culture that keeps teams engaged, productive, and proud to come to work is a truly remarkable achievement.”
