EASTON, Pa. (Aug. 2, 2022) – With the help of Kubota Tractor Corporation, the next generation of do-it-yourselfers, builders, farmers, business owners, and community leaders have taken over Pennsylvania’s most colorful family attraction.
“Kubota Machine Adventures” – which runs through Sept. 12 – opened today with a special public outdoor kickoff event in front of Crayola Experience in downtown Easton. Hundreds of kids colored a full-sized Kubota tractor and 5-ft high coloring pages, scooped colorful marker caps with toy excavators, pedaled toy tractors around a course, and crafted projects inspired by the takeover.
Inside Crayola Experience, Kubota’s iconic orange equipment—including an excavator, tractor, and UTV— has transformed the family attraction to inspire kids to bring to life the community of Crayonville with their own creative touches.
The limited-time indoor adventure—a result of the partnership between Crayola and Kubota, one of the leading equipment manufacturers in the U.S.—has kids (and kids at heart) engaging in more than new 20 hands-on activities such as:
- creating their own Kubota Machine Adventures I.D. badges;
- hopping on a kid-sized tractor to dig Crayola flower beds;
- building a rainbow high rise out of crayon box “bricks”;
- snapping photoswith REAL Kubota equipment;
- scooping, loading and dumping at a 3D projection sand table;
- transforming crayon shavings into “grass clippings” art;
- naming and wrapping their own Kubota-inspired crayon;
- engineering their ownultimate Kubota machine of the future; and more.
Throughout the immersive experience, families will discover how the human power of creativity and the machine power of Kubota equipment together can drive innovation to build better and stronger communities.
Additionally, in celebration of National Coloring Book Day today, the first 50 families admitted to the attraction received a special edition Kubota Coloring & Activity Book developed in partnership with Crayola and featuring scenes of Crayola characters using Kubota equipment to get Crayonville ready for a big town festival. The 48-page coloring book is available for purchase at participating U.S. Kubota dealers, KubotaUSA.com and The Crayola Store inside Crayola Experience locations.
The kid-powered experience is included in the price of admission. New this summer, visitors can get unlimited visits to Crayola Experience through Dec. 31, 2022, with the purchase of a Color Card for the cost of a full-priced admission ticket.
“We’ve created an amazing opportunity for thousands of children to learn through creativity how equipment is used to design and build the world around us. Kids will have fun using their imagination, creativity, and problem-solving skills—along with Kubota machines—to bring to life the colorful community of Crayonville and discover how they can build a better future,” said Warren Schorr, Senior Vice President Business Development, Global Licensing, & Experiences.
