Allentown, PA (February 2, 2016) The Allentown School District will begin the 2016-2017 Kindergarten Registration period on April 25. In September 2016, the District will offer only full-day kindergarten classes. The District has been moving toward a universal full-day kindergarten program for the past two years — adding new full-day classes to the District each year. Ten additional full-day kindergarten classes will join the current full-day classes allowing the District to offer 53 full-day kindergarten classes starting in September 2016.
Children five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2016, who live within the Allentown School District, should register for 2016-2017 Kindergarten before the first day of school. Parents and guardians need to contact their neighborhood school to schedule a Kindergarten Registration appointment.

- April 25 (Monday): Mosser Elementary School, 129 South Dauphin Street
- April 26 (Tuesday): Lehigh Parkway Elementary School, 1708 Coronado Street
- April 28 (Thursday): Luis A. Ramos Elementary School, 1430 West Allen Street
- April 29 (Friday): Muhlenberg Elementary School, 740 North 21st Street
- May 2 (Monday): Union Terrace Elementary School, 1939 West Union Street
- May 3 (Tuesday): Jefferson Elementary School, 750 St. John Street
- May 4 (Wednesday): Washington Elementary School, 837 North 9th Street
- May 5 (Thursday): Cleveland Elementary, 424 North 9th Street
- May 6 (Friday): McKinley Elementary, 1124 Turner Street
- May 9 (Monday): Hiram W. Dodd Elementary School, 1944 South Church Street
- May 10 (Tuesday): Sheridan Elementary School, 521 North 2nd Street
- May 11 (Wednesday): Lincoln Early Childhood Center, 1402 Walnut Street
- May 12 (Thursday): Roosevelt Elementary School, 210 West Susquehanna Street
- May 13 (Friday): Ritter Elementary School, 790 North Plymouth Street
- May 16 (Monday): Central Elementary School, 829 West Turner Street
To register students, parents and guardians are required to have the following documentation: proof of birth, proof of residency, proof of immunizations with dates, and proof of a physical examination within the past year.
