It doesn’t get much better than this, a laid back early Sunday evening across the Levitt Pavillion lawn. Lawn chairs, and blankets scattered the area while a warm wofting scent of peorgies filled the air.  Friends, families, children and the die hard fans, affectionately known as “Kampers”, danced and cheered to the hip hop/reggae with a dash of psychedelic sounds of Space Kamp.

Space Kamp is a duo, Oskee (son of Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award receipant, Cuco Valoy), and Adoo (cofounder of the cannabis cultural lifestyle, and radio show Rebel Hippies) are Lehigh Valley natives, that started making music together in 2017.  Their mission is to break the rules and spread love around the globe, and they do just that, Space Kamp is a hard working touring band.

As Oskee explained, “We use our platform to bring awareness.  You all are enjoying your medical marijuana in Pennsylvania, right?”

The crowd cheered.

Oskee continued, “Meanwhile, there are so many sitting in jail on small drug related charges.”

Space Kamp has a big heart filled with goodness for the world as Oskee later announced that they were holding a raffle, and combined with their new album release this fall, a percentage of the presale will go towards raising the awareness of testicular cancer.

Joined onstage by DJ Merc, the group belted out some of the crowd favorites, “Home Grown”, “Summer of Love” (accompanied by Jessica Lamb). “Rabbit Hole”, and their first hit single, “Stoner Chic”.

With strong sharp vocal punches, their rapping blended harmoniously which create the anthemic sounds of ‘A.D.I.D.A.S.’ and ‘All Day I Dab and Smoke’. Other songs performed were ‘Life’s a Beach’, ‘Waiting For Summer’, ‘Girl Like You’, and ‘Electric Lemonade’.

Space Kamp met the fans after the show, and an afterparty with a dj ready to spin followed.  Space Kamp will be back performing at Musikfest on August 13th. To catch up on all their news and tour dates follow Space Kamp on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and their website, SpaceKamp420.com
