Lehigh Valley Business is looking for nominations for its 3rd annual Health Care Heroes Awards. The 2016 Lehigh Valley Business Healthcare Heroes awards program honors individuals and organizations that are making a significant impact on the quality of health care in the Greater Lehigh Valley.
Nominations are being accepted through January 15. Individuals and organizations may be self-nominated, or nominated by another person.
Award categories open to public nominations include Dental Professional, Education Hero, Health Care Professional, Nurse, Physical Therapist, Physician, Special Needs Hero, Volunteer, Women’s Health & Wellness Hero, Workplace Wellness Hero, and the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Out of an elite group of finalists selected, one honoree in each category will be named the winner.
Finalists will be recognized and the winners in each category will be announced at an awards ceremony scheduled for April 13 at DeSales University.
To be eligible for nomination, the nominee must work in the Greater Lehigh Valley counties of Berks, carbon Lehigh, lower Monroe, upper Montgomery, Northampton, upper Bucks, Schuylkill and Warren, and organizations must have offices within this region. To be considered for the judges’ review, a completed nomination form must be submitted by 5pm on Friday, January 15, 2016.
