he effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is resulting in some changes to the city of Allentown’s special event recycling programs.

The Bureau of Recycling & Solid Waste is cancelling the scheduled Saturday, April 4 electronics recycling event and April 15 and April 18 paper shredding events.

Electronics and paper shredding recycling are suspended until further notice.  No appointments are being scheduled.
